A fashionable and functional outerwear piece that has been popular with our customers for years. Designed to be worn inside, or out and about in the elements. You can style it several ways, giving you multiple 'look' options.
Print Design: Matariki (on this cape it is a black print on a navy cape).
Matariki is the Māori name for the cluster of stars also known as the Pleiades. It rises in mid-winter and for many Māori, it heralds the start of a new year.
This pattern represents the nine stars in the Matariki constellation; Matariki, Waitī, Waitā, Tupuānuku, Tupuārangi, Waipunarangi, Ururangi, Pōhutukawa, Hiwa-i-te-rangi.
Style: You can wear this cape several ways, off the shoulder, with the neck rolled up and as a hooded cape, shown in our photos.
Model: Our model Sarah is wearing size RUA (14-16) in the photos.
Sizing is as follows:
TAHI: Size (10 - 12 size)
RUA: Size (14 - 16 size)
TORU: Size (18 - 20 size)
WHA: Size (22 - 24 size)
Designed and made here in New Zealand, Fabric sourced from a local supplier (but imported from overseas). Fabric is a wool blend (80% wool 20% acrylic) fabric.
We recommend washing all knitwear/wool by hand in cold water. Do not use any washing detergents that contain bleach.
Once washed, dry garment flat (on top of a towel on a drying rack is best) do not hang or put in direct sunlight or it will fade and/or lose its shape.
***COLOUR VARIATION - Please note while all measures are taken to ensure the colouring of our photos match the actual product, there may be slight variations due to device colour matching***
