Cape (Straight Edge), Grey/Brown Swatch - Te Raukura

The straight edge cape is fast becoming one of our favourite cape cuts.  With its longer length, you can enjoy the wrap around warmth and the flexibility of how you can style it, with the oversized collar. Made from wool blend fabric, it is sure to keep you snug.

Design: Te Raukura

Te Raukura design represents the feather or plume that was traditionally worn by people of mana (prestige, authority and/or influence) and is said to symbolise pride and inner strength.

Style: You can wear this cape several ways, off the shoulder, with the neck rolled up as a hooded cape

This cape is cut slightly different to our normal 'Long' cape, its edges are straight, it has pockets and it is much longer in length (approx 140cm).

Models: Our models Lana, Nichola and Aaliyah are all wearing a size RUA.

Sizing is as follows:

TAHI: Size (10 - 12 size)

RUA: Size (14 - 16 size)

TORU: Size (18 - 20 size)

WHA: Size (22 - 24 size)

Fabric details:

Designed and made here in New Zealand, Fabric sourced from a local supplier (but imported from overseas). Fabric is a wool blend (80% wool 20% acrylic) fabric.

Care instructions: 

We recommend washing all knitwear/wool by hand in cold water.  Do not use any washing detergents that contain bleach. 

Once washed, dry garment flat (on top of a towel on a drying rack is best) do not hang or put in direct sunlight or it will fade and/or lose its shape.
