Earrings, Hineraumati tapatoru V

Material *

Hineraumati the summer maiden Collection is now available online. Coming at you with golden and natural vibes. Available in three different colours and materials so you can match them perfectly with your outfit.

Hineraumati is known as the summer maiden, and like her sister (Hinetakurua) she is a wife of the sun Tamanuiteraa (the sun). Hineraumati plays an important role in helping the many plants, trees and vegetables to germinate, grow and produce fruit. Working together with her husband who supplies warmth from above, Hineraumati transports nutrients from the ground to the roots of the plants.

The design on these earrings represents Hineraumati, Tamanuiterā and Hinetakurua, and the three way relationship they have. We have chosen to several native flowers to also symbolise raumati (summer).  They are the pohutukawa, houhere, puawananga and puriri flowers.
