Print Design: Ngutu Kākā... this design print uses ngutu kākā patterns to represent our connection to the Taiao, reflecting the importance of native flora and fauna in our (Māori) culture.
Style: The Straight Edge Cape is exactly that... made with straight edges, and is longer in length than our Long Capes. You can wear this cape, like the Long Cape several ways, off the shoulder, with the neck rolled up and as a hooded cape, which is shown in our photos.
Model: Our model Hinekohu is wearing size TAHI (10 - 12) and Manawa a size RUA in the photos, both are approx 175cm in height.
Sizing is as follows:
TAHI: Size (10 - 12 size)
RUA: Size (14 - 16 size)
TORU: Size (18 - 20 size)
WHA: Size (22 - 24 size)
Fabric details:
Designed and made here in Aotearoa, Fabric sourced from a local supplier (but imported from overseas). Fabric is a wool blend (80% wool 20% viscose) fabric. We cut, sew and print the garment here in Aotearoa.
Care instructions:
We recommend washing all knitwear/wool by hand in cold water. Do not use any washing detergents that contain bleach.
Once washed, dry garment flat (on top of a towel on a drying rack is best) do not hang or put in direct sunlight or it will fade and/or lose its shape.
