Pōhutukawa is the whetū who holds our tears and treasures — the star that remembers those who have journeyed beyond the veil.

She rises in the midwinter sky to honour our loved ones who have passed, carrying their names into the heavens.

Her light reminds us that while they are gone from this world, they remain with us — in the waves, in the winds, in the whisper of the stars.
