Welcome Raumati with our chic Tino Rangatiratanga rolled sleeve tee dress! Perfect for daily wear, its unique style and comfortable fit make it an essential wardrobe staple. Love the feel, embrace the elegance, and make every day fashionable with this versatile, must-have dress.
Dress Style: Argued to be one of the most versatile designs one can purchase, this t-shirt dress meets the needs of any avid traveller or capsule wardrobe enthusiast. It provides endless styling options with little need for accessorising. The dress features subtle detailing; rolled sleeves, a high/low hemline and a back seam.
Print Design: This print design represents two of our values: Tino Rangatiratanga (sovereignty - triangle part) and Rawe (Excellence - Poutama part at the bottom). What these mean for us:
Rawe is the manifestation of excellence. To symbolise this we have used the poutama design which signifies the growth of humans, striving ever upwards to reach the ‘peak’ of one's goals & objectives. To focus on attainment, achievement and being the best one can be.
Tino Rangatiratanga projects the power that is absolute sovereignty. This is encapsulated in the maunga design as being resolute and steadfast in its environment. The repetition of the design embedded in the tāniko framework is a reminder that our absolute sovereignty and determination is ours uniquely in many landscapes and forms.
Did you know... This garment is made in Kampot, Cambodia by an indigenously owned company called Dorsu, who make slow and considered garments, designed and produced ethically in their production studio. We at Nichola are moving into a space where we want to build good relationships with indigenous business across the world who encapsulate the value of kaitiakitanga (guardianship of people, planet and processes).
Models: Our model Sarah is wearing a size LRG
Sizing guide: We have found this sizing to be smaller so we advise choosing a size or two up from what you would normally buy if you are wanting a relaxed fit e.g. normal size 14/LRG we would go up to an XLG or 2XL for a loose fit.
MED: Size 10
LRG: Size 12
XLG: Size 14
2XL: Size 16
3XL: Size 18
4XL: Size 20
Fabric details: blended medium weight cotton jersey with a black vinyl print.
***COLOUR VARIATION - Please note while all measures are taken to ensure the colouring of our photos match the actual product, there may be slight variations due to device colour matching***
I bought this dress based on the instruction on the website to size up. I'm normally a size 10, so when I saw size 10 was a medium, I ordered a Large. The dress looks okay but a bit shapeless, would look much better a size smaller. I tried it on when I got it and removed the tag. When I received your request for a review, then it fully hit me that I'd ordered a Large. I haven't worn the dress because if looks a bit unflattering. Love the style and the print, but wish I'd gone with the medium. Mauri ora ki a tātou!

Love it length and design on this piece. A nice number to chuck in around home or to dress up to go out.
