Our popular Tee Dress is returning this Kōanga (Spring) and for Mahuru Māori. It has been designed to look sleek and funky; style it with jandals for an after-beach look, or pair it with boots for a summer festival outfit!

About the Print Design: Taiea ana - you got swag

This year to celebrate and tautoko Mahuru Māori, we have created these designs to help normalise te reo māori by using different kiwaha (sayings/idioms/colloquial expressions) on tee dresses.

Dress Style:

This garment is our short sleeve Tee dress, styled from the tall tee, which you can wear as a t.shirt, its just quite long.  The fitting of this garment is relaxed, which means there is a bit of room in the sizing.  We still recommend you choose the size that would normally fit you e.g. size 14 girls would fit a size LRG nicely.

We have found the length of this garment to be short on some of us girls here in the workshop, but for those shorter in height you might find this dress a good length. So expect some variation on length according to your body shape.

Fabric details:

- Regular-Relaxed fit
- Crew neck, extra long body roughly 10cm longer than standard tees
- Mid weight, 180 GSM, 26-singles
- 100% combed cotton (marles 15% viscose)
- Neck ribbing, side seamed, shoulder to shoulder tape, double needle hems, preshrunk to minimise shrinkage.

Care instructions:

We recommend washing in machine with cold water.  Do not use any washing detergents that contain bleach.

Once washed, dry garment flat. Do not hang or put in direct sunlight or it will fade and/or lose its shape.
